Cold weather is upon us and with the temp droping below freezing, the chances of ice are going up, so are the chances of getting stranded on the side of the road. Be prepared for the cold by keeping a blanket(preferably wool) in the car. I also recommend keeping an extra coat along with a hat and gloves. These are in addition to things you should already have, like a flashlight, road flares, etc. You never know what might happen, and while unlikely, you may be stuck somewhere for a long time before anyone can help you.
